Our History
2018
China International Import Expo (CIIE) becomes the World’s First Import-Themed Expo Connecting Global Businesses with Chinese Buyers. In 2024, the CIIE saw a record-high total of $80.01 billion worth of tentative deals reached for one-year purchases of goods and services.
The IASC Leadership Summit was formed as the CIIE’s civil aviation event with the support of major OEMs.
2022
Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP), an initiative of the European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP), was officially formed by a coalition of +50 aerospace clusters representing European, Asian, American, and African aerospace industries. It is the largest global aerospace cluster network.

The seventh CIIE attracted 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions, engaging with a wide range of domestic and international professional buyers. The event resulted in tentative deals worth $80.01 billion for one-year purchases of goods and services, marking a 2% increase from the previous year.
The CIIE continues to be a vital platform for businesses of all sizes. Among the 3,496 exhibitors were 297 Global Fortune 500 companies and a broad mix of SMEs, underscoring the expo’s appeal across the global business landscape.
